I changed the oil (Atomic M-18) for my first time and was pleased to
learn that the previous owner had installed a drain hose. But what did
he connect to the hose to suck-out the oil? It's not intened to drain
by gravity - that won't get all the oil. The hose has a brass fitting,
about 3/8", fine threaded, and there is a plastic adapter stored nearby
the end of the hose, that converts (from 3/8" hose end) to what looks
like a garden hose fitting (about 1", course thread). Is this a
'standard' system for marine oil change work?? Where can I find a pump
that will work with it?

Thanks!

Pete
