Another trick is to use "reply all".  You will get a popup message stating 
that you are already on the reply list and do you want to do this?  Ignore and 
complete your reply.  I belong to two listserves that do not send a reply to 
the sender and I discovered this insures that I do get the message in my box.  
For original messages, put your e-mail address as well as IC27A address into 
the "to" box.

I've found that if I reply directly (via my GMail, or Outlook, etc) to a
list message, I won't get a copy of it; however if I click the "Reply to
Group" link that is inside the message itself (near the bottom) then I will
get a copy.

Dunno why Joe gets two copies ... maybe he's just receiving extra love? ;-)

On a side note, GMail never marks IC27A messages as spam for me.
