In the sping I am going to repaint the anti fowling on the bottom of my C27 and wondered what kind of paint would hold up when it dries out during the winter on the hard. West Marine says I need a specific paint that can dry up and stll be good the next year. I don't want to repaint every year and the stuff they suggested is over $200.00 a gallon.

Any suggestions on who makes a good main for a reasonable price. I think North Sails are rinning around $700.00 but I have seen some sailmakers selling them for around $600.00 Am I better off going with a known sailmaker? Any input would be appreciated. >>> <[email protected]>01/06/10 9:22 AM >>> Great, thanks Ted Pinelli -----Original Message----- From: timothy nathan <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, Jan 6, 2010 11:19 am Subject: Re: [IC27A] Old Sails oops. Okay as I was saying. 1. try to sell them on ebay, your local marina, yc. 2. if they have some life left sell them to a used sailboat parts store such as bacon's in annapolis. 3. some people use old sails to make stuff such as duffle bags, jackets, etc. if you are industrious. (resails, inc) 4. you could have them dry cleaned, repaired, and refurbished. They will never be racing quality again, but might be nice to have a second set. They may not be in the best of shape. Does anyone know if there is a market for old sails?
