Wing Tip is a C270, so the factory learned from the C27 and designed in a lot better solution for many system (electrical and water line conduits, etc.). I'll describe the path in generic terms and it should apply more or less. The electrical panel is just above the seat back level so starting from there: 1. They gone down and aft until they are along the (galley) cabinet face frame along the cabin sole. 2. The follow the face frame around under the sink and then head aft along the outside of the shaft alley. 3. They enter the shaft alley with the exhaust hose aft of the shaft log. 4. They exit the aft cabin via the shaft alley under the floor boards and then move port until clear of the steering gear access panel. 5. They go forward again under the steering gear cover across the roof of the aft cabin and enter the wheel guard tube from the bottom of the port side. 6. When I added the chart plotter (which cables back to the Nav Station) I accessed the starboard leg of the guard. 7. They exit the wheel guard inside the nav pod. The auto helm drive cable exit from the starboard tube just through a small hole, but the rest is covered in the pod. I put a pedestal mounted chart plotter on my brothers IP40. The installation started with an Edson made arm that attaches to the guard and comes out a few inches (5 years ago now). The arm end in a large hollow threaded tube (I think it's 1") facing up. Using a hole saw I cut a disk of starboard and threaded it with the appropriate large tap (1"-14?). After cleaning up edges the GPS mounting arm was attached to the disk and the wires run down into the hollow arm and into the wheel guard. I remember adding a set screw into the threads to lock the GPS from rotation. Instead of using normal screws I purchased the security screws used by Nav Pod for this mount as well.
