I have a SIMRAD TP10 and have used it for about 5 years on a C27. It's
great in light air or under power but if I had to do it again, I would
buy something bigger. The the TP10 gets overpowered at times,
particularly with waves 3 feet or more, winds over 12-15K, and
especially on a reach. And it's always just when you go below to take a
leak (pardon the expression) that the TP10 decides to break bad.
The C27 was well within the specs for the TP10 ("for sail boats up to
33' and 8000 lbs") but in the real world you can't always believe what
a manufacturer says.
