Hi. I have an raymarine st1000 with remote, 'lil Ray Ray. It has always been great except when the boat isn't balanced then it just has wild course changes. So when that happens I just trim the sails to balance the helm and she is all good again. I have had her in 20+ knots with a lot of rain and chop and with the remote kept her right on track from the cozy comfort of the cabin.
