Amazingly has the St-2000 for $566 right now. I think I will get one.

Talked to the Raymarine rep this past weekend at the Strictly Sail show----he
advised that the ST1000 is not strong enough for the Cat 27---the ST1000 is
rated for 7000lbs and my 86' Cat 27 is 6850----the rep stated that the correct
method of rating a auto pilot is the gross displacement plus 40%----this would
mean that the ST2000 would be the correct auto pilot which has a rating of
10,000lbs---West Marine has the ST2000 and they told me that the ST1000 is
being discontinued

Anyone have an auto pilot for their tiller-equipped boat? Looking for
suggestions. Thanks
