When I did the same project on Bloody Mary, I took a piece of the old bulkhead to a paint store to match the stain. I used a combination of different stains to archive an extremely close match. It was trial end error on scraps but It is hard to tell the difference in the original starboard bulkhead and the new port bulkhead. Chuck Bloody Mary 2381 In a message dated 2/8/2010 10:10:28 A.M. Sunday in 36 degrees I removed the port bulkhead. Lots of rot. While my search continues for a suitable replacement here in TN I would like the groups opinion about what finish to use. I assume I will use epoxy to seal the edges but would like to match, somewhat the other finish that the factory used. I thought about Cetol but don't yet no if the replacement ply will be teak. The port bulkhead by the way is about 26" wide X 42"tall. Doug #5053 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
