Hi David,

Awesome work !!!  Question, I am a new owner of a 1973 c-27 standard rig
with an Atomic 4 inboard. I am experiencing a shut down issue and am attempting
to work thru it with moyer marine. I may say forget it, and use my craigslist
skills to look for a used bracket and 9.9 longshaft(enter Honda here;used is
possible) What do you do regarding charging? I had a c-22 with an 8 hp honda
which stated it had a charging system, however that was way under acceptable
output needed for keeping the battery bank in check. Just wondering. Also
wondering how you power thru the tough days with the 9.9 . Do you reach hull
speed with enough  umpph to get the job done. We belong to the Taunton yacht
club here in Dighton Ma and have a long tricky(@ times) run up the river.
Finally, looks like you are also using the original fuel tank behind the coffin
bunk lol did you need to modify anything in order to have enough suction to
provide the fuel for your outboard? My
wife wants to get rid of our boat because the motor is not reliable(konked out
last year and put us in the rocks, not a happy time...)  I really want to keep
her as she has so much potential and with the install of a new keel and a
blisterless hull, she will for sure be around for many years to come. Thanks in
advance.

I will be delighted to share any information you wish.  Let me know  what
information you want and I will reply.

The motor cost me $2800.00, the mount cost me $1000.00 and other expenses
cost me about $750.00 for plasma cutting, fiberglass, filler, paint, etc.

The anticipated outcome of being able to extract the motor from the water
when not in use was realized.  With this installation I will never have to
replace the auxiliary.  I can flush it internally and externally after each
and every use.

An unbelievably nice job.
Unfortunately that looks like it is beyond the  budget and labor we have
at our disposal. Care to disclose these  details?
Unless you want to come down and do that to our boat ;)
