I was too cheap to buy new stanchions so what I did instead was I used thickened epoxy to make wedges to wedge my stanchions vertical. I'll see if I can't get out to the boat to take some pictures today. Michael

What are the pros and cons? I'm also going to put fairleads on the starboard stanchions for the furling line so that I'm not always having it roll under my feet when I'm trying to get up on deck. I saw it done on another C27 online and thought it was a great idea and a simple fix to something that is always a subtle annoyance. The boat I saw had the fairleads on the outside but I wouldn't do that, I just want to keep the line off the deck. Any thoughts? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
