4000+ hours on the motor.I just remembered this. When I was working at a
boat yard in Texas, we had an older retired fellow come in with a Cat 27. He
wanted the rig removed and the keel shortened. He was going to use it as a
trawler and cruise the Tom Bigby Water way. He wasn't a sailor, just liked
the look and layout of the boat and wasn't in a hurry. Maybe that's his old
boat.only way one could rack up that many hours.

aaaaahhhhhh. that sounds like the case. i thought that was a bit much but
wanted to check in and make sure. after all when i divided 4000+ hours by
24hr per day it worked out to 100+ days which didn't seem completely
outrageous give the boats age but i think you're right. thank god.
