[IC27A] Solar powered vents

Has anyone installed a solar powered air vent for a C 27?  I'm looking at 
replacing the old, yellowed vent on my '74 C 27 with a solar powered vent that 
runs on its own battery by night.  West marine sells them, but the customer 
reviews on their site are negative.  Anyone have better luck?  Thanks, Rob
