I have no experience with Bomar gaskets but my I offer suggestion:  you call 
Bomar and ask Tech Support how to apply the glue.  Or find the installation 
instructions on-line at Bomar. I'd hate to chemically alter the gasket by using 
the wrong glue/solvent with it.  I usually follow the manufacturer's 
recommendations and use their chemically compatible products. 

I find tech support is usually pretty good at most companies.  I've learned 
alot from tech support departments.
