Funny, there's a MacGregor down the dock from me. Two years ago he snagged
some shrouds on a powerboat's anchor at dock and dismasted. That didn't stop
him from using his boat for the rest of the season, sans mast, thanks to the
huge 40-something horsepower motor hanging off the back. That was rather
entertaining.
