I have a ColdMachine. It draws a little over 4amps when running and runs about 50% of the time in the summer. It depends on how much extra insulation and how often the door is opened. I have a 235amp house battery bank and an 80amp smart alternator and I still have to run the engine 30 minites, twice a day when cruising. Don, #6293, Niceville, FL
