Aft is better particularly if you have a wheel. I am seriously thinking of
moving my winches back 2 feet for easier single handing

Thanks all. I ordered some harken cam cleats.... And now Just ordered new
Lewmar 30STs from Catalina direct:) - am I insane? They will take about a
month to show up. I was thinking of relocationing them further aft but not
sure yet. I leave the sheets on deck ready to snap onto whichever sail I hank
 on.

5-10 steady from the NE. Hanked on the 150 genoa and headed out to the
lake. The C27 sails real nice with that size sail in that wind, almost hands
off.

tailers with a cleat aft. I actually found it easier to not use the winch and
luff the headsail and cleat. What is your upgrade? Have you switched to cam
cleats instead of the regulate cleat? upgraded the winches? What do you find
to be the best way to 'cleat your sheet', especially when single handed?
