This is the most common set up I've seen.  Sheet lines run to the forward car 
then back to a turning block and then to the winch.  This reduces the working 
load on the winch by about 50%.  I use rubber cased snatch blocks snapped to 
cars with eyes on the track.

Maybe I need a second cup of coffee but are you saying you have 2 blocks on 
each track- one forward for proper sheet angle then one aft that leads the 
sheet to the winch?
