I replaced the hoses a couple of years ago. The black, steel reinforced
hose that needed replacing was very expensive, and hard to find. I went to an
auto part store with the old hose. They were able to give me a hose of the
exact length and curve. I believe it was a radiator hose from a Toyota. I
can't remember the year or model. They were about $7.00 each. Much cheaper
than other 1" hose. Try taking the old hose to an auto parts store. They
should be able to help.

I am replacing the tubing that connects the drains (scuffers?) in the
cockpit to the through hulls. The current tubing is a 1" ID black hose is
there
any reason the reininforced vinyl tubing, like that on other drains,
cannot be used? The hole where the tubing comes through the cockpit floor is
sealed around the tubing with a bead of silicon is there a better way to do
this?

What do you reconmend for rebedding and sealing fittings on other
components of this 1984 std rig?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. - Thanks
