Thanks for the reply. have used mclube on fittings but never directly on the 
sail itself. Forestay rigged correctly, my 150 goes up without a hitch, it is 
my "new" 110 that is hesitant. BTW, went sailing with the 110% which has a luff 
of only 28ft vs 33 ft on my 150. Guess what ?
Yup, had the halyard wrap around the extrusion as the "standoff" was installed 
for the 150 and does'nt work for the 110. the only way out of this dilemma is 
to install another jib halyard with a standoff appropriate for the 110. Wish I 
had thought this through before i bought this used sail. Thing is , it draws so 
well. went sailing in 15-22kts with this sail (no main) and easily made good 
5kts on a close reach. New halyard means , hound band or tang and pulley 
installed below masthead with second stand off for this sail.Any better 
solutions ot there ? tks Leroy
