      Vicki,

It seems that you have the correct nuts but you really need to chase the 
threads with the correct die.  Do you already have the old nuts off?  If so, 
chase them with the die as close to the bottom of the bilge as possible.  Use 
large,thick, fender washers (the largest and thickest you can find) first then 
the lock washers and nuts.  To make sure you have the right die and nuts, 
purchase a little thread pitch gauge to check the threads per inch and thread 
pitch before getting and using the die. 

PB blaster is a decent rust penetrant but don't use it as a lubricant.  WD 40 
or some other light oil will work fine for lubrication.  

Furthermore, I wouldn't even use stainless nuts.  A good grade 8 or cad plated 
grade 5 will work fine and won't gall the threads.  You actually want a less 
noble nut than stud.  Just lubricate them and after torquing to 80 LBS max., 
clean them and paint the nuts with some Rustolium or something similar.  They 
will last for years.
