Vicki

I did this a few years ago. A dremel with a wire brush and a 5/8 11 thread die
are the key tools. I actually did a comprehensive job following the procedures
described here
http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/cCAFTPfVl8saqYh7OInbuqwQqJ1__7swY_1yv6m9D4zc0RhCT5RlskaTfrRfEdgO_Ivh4xwyIAvoa5s0Y-voqE1-F0TMqePVUA/C-27_keelbolt_nut_replacement.pdf

Hope that helps, good luck

Subject: [IC27A] How do I get off gunk from a keel bolt?

So 3 of our nuts are rusted out and we are trying to get all of the old gunk
and rust off of the bolt but it is proving very difficult. Any ideas?
Thanks
Vicki
