On some of the Edson units, there is a 1/4" bolt which "squishes" the nylon throttle bushing to create the tension. My 1985 model does not. Though there is a dent in the casting where a drill and tap could be used to create the threads for the bolt.

Note a 1/4 bolt hex head just to the right of the bushing keeper screw.
