Gary,

We used to camp up at Leech Lake with my in-laws every other summer until about 10 years ago when my wife died.  Used to stay at Shores of Leech lake campground, which has a nice small marina.  Really loved the break from the hot, humid Alabama summers!  I'm hoping to talk new wife into going back, but we don't have the motorhome anymore.  Bought my first Garmin GPS at the big sporting goods store there in Walker - can't remember the name, but it was a great place to go drool over equipment.

Yes - Leech Lake is about 20 miles south of Cass Lake.
It's the third largest lake in Minnesota.
Many miles of undeveloped shoreline (located partially in a tribal reservation).

We have about 60 sailboats at our marina.
Many of them are Catalinas ranging from 22'-34'.
We have 3 C270s.
Unfortunately, the sailing season is short.
So we sail/cruise/party hard.

We have a blast hailing other boats in our club.
Good combinations with our boat GSPOT are:

Screamer
NautiLady
and
Rub 'N Me Too

PS I wanted to name my dingy GSTRING, but had to settle for GSPECK.

Isn't Leech Lake near Cass Lake?  I used to go to camp up there in the 60's.  Lived in Waseca...
