I really like working horses in hand and asking them to speed up 'in hand'
to see what gaits they offer.  Just like with the photo of Dagur I will
often get some kind of easy gait when the horses are asked to speed up -
easier when you are close and leading that on a longer line.  Whatever it
says about the breed or not I have had lots of horses that did one gait in
the pasture, could be trot or pace, and have them do something more 4 beat
when they were ridden.

What kind of evaluation process do they have with KMSH?  Is the evaluation
done primarily to evaluate gait?  Do they also evaluate conformation?  What
about the TWH?  Peruvian,  Paso Finos?
