Yes, it was rude. I can - and I will - be rude when it comes down to doing what's right for horses - especially when people won't listen to tactful, carefully explained reasons for certain positions we've stated. At that point, I don't give a rat's rear-end about the semantics you like to argue about, nor about politeness. My first allegiance is with the welfare of this breed of horses when I'm on this list.
