The EZ Rides I have also have the full leather cover over the stirrup (tapaderos) and this is very handy when riding on narrow trails, etc., as the you don't get poked...twigs, branches, shrubs are brushed off. I have toe stoppers too, on my regular stirrups, and they made them a little bit wider but not as much as the EZ Rides.
BTW, good prices for EZ Rides, Tipperary helmets, sheepskin covers, Ariat boots (items I was looking for all at the same time) at fourwinds.net in Colorado. Order over $99 and shipping is free...easy to do when you are ordering the above. The service was fast but I have just returned the Tipp. helmet (too small for my husband) and exchanged the boots to a smaller size so we'll see how the return goes! Trish
