Okay, this is from my limited knowledge from taking lessons and I
never really accomplished it or at least felt I did.  AND when I think
about it, I'm not even sure I have the concept correct....

But to ride a horse from back to front, instead of yarding on the
reins - you want to maintain light contact (what's the word?
Strawberry contact)...and when the horse is moving out you want to
apply light leg pressure on the side your horse is lifting his hind
off from.

Do I have that right?

If I don't have it correct....can someone re-explain it for me?

This is advanced dressage stuff....and was probably way over my head.
While in lessons it's nice to be introduced to concepts....you have to
be ready for them as well.
