Storme, there is not one BIT of difference in a weanling out of first
prize parents being sold from a show barn and one out of first prize
parents being sold out of a family farm situation.  Not one bit.
There is no way to judge gait at that point and conformation can, and
usually does, change a great deal in five years.  To pay 2500 for a
weanling, a good one, a registered one makes sense.  When you pay
17,000 bucks what are you paying for exactly?
