I think in German it is 'Vom', in Canada it is 'From', Icelandic 'Fra' -- Orr from Maple Leaf Icelandic Farm was born to Hrafna Vom Klausenberg (from Nattfari Vom Wiesenhof) fathered by Spuni Fra Groenuhlid (from Orri fra Pufu) and lots of other Vom's and Fra's. I'm not an expert but that's how I understand it. V
