when I have lived here in Iceland since 1993 and know of very few yearling´s that hasn´t droped and it´s born a couple of hundred´s foals in my area each year are very much in breeding as I I´m on board of two breeding assosiation´s (1 local in the valley and the other for the county) I can not agree on 50% ( I got 1 out of more than 30 gelding) But yes I think it´s around 10% as in other breed´s but not higher or maybe I live in a area with little % off this .it´s maybe more on the south or..............
