I do not follow Parelli, but I do follow Clinton
Anderson. He is a meat and potatoes trainer - lays it
all out for you step by step and on an untrained horse
so you see the mistakes most will go thru before they
catch on. However, I don't drink his Kool-Aid either
(I don't remember that phrase). What I do is combine
Clinton's step by step meat and potatoes with the
teachings of Bill Dorrence from his book "True
Horsemanship Thru Feel" to get a more complete picture
of what I want. But Bill doesn't give me the visual
"meat and potatoes" step by step instruction I need.
And Clinton doesn't give me the "feel" I want with my
horse. After that, it's my other bible, Lee Ziegler's
"Easy-Gaited Horses". With those 3 as my teachers, I
have everything I need to train my own horses. But
that is me.
