In the videos of the bigger SHOWS where the riders are supposedly of higher skills (?) I've only seen the horses rack. The horses are always ridden with such heavy contact, heads held still, that I don't think a horse could run walk if they were so inclined. It may not have always been so, but that's all I've seen. I emphasize the distinction between shows and breeding evaluations since they are supposed to be different entities. In effect though, they seem the same to me, no matter what they call them.
