Skjoni was the master at hiding his pain/discomfort/unhappiness/whatever with the Free N Easy saddle. He began to be a little difficult to catch at times, got just a wee bit pacey in his gaits (but was still so smooth that Cary hadn't noticed the difference) and just looked oh-so-subtly tense when ridden.
