umm, and how does "buy domestic" equate to a lack of broken bones? i tried quite a few icelandics when i was horse-hunting, and did not find the american-born to be of any superiority; indeed the one who most seriously shied with me on top was american-born. i'm coming up on my one-year anniversary with stjarni, though, and have (knock wood!) yet to break any bones, nor have any of the dozens of other people who've ridden my good boy do so.... --vicka
