Hi Vicka,
>>> i'm coming up on my
one-year anniversary with stjarni, though, and have (knock wood!) yet to
break any bones, nor have any of the dozens of other people who've
ridden my good boy do so....

I have bought and sold many wonderful horses from Iceland. They have found
really great homes and biggest problem that some people have had is SE and
that to me is probably the biggest reason to buy domestic.

I have some horses that came from Iceland that I will never be able to sell
because they are not suitable for most riders AND I have some horses that
are domestic bred and some that I have bred that I will also probably never
offer for sale because they are not suitable either.

I am not sure how many people on this list have actually been breeding and
selling horses for a number of years but no matter how horses are bred,
raised and trained they don't all turn out the same.

I have sold some horses that were fine when they were here and did not work
out in their homes, or sadly years later I come to hear about problems they
had, often due to the type of training being used. I would hope that many
people selling horses, especially if they have more than a few horses for
sale, do want people to be happy but maybe I am just too hopeful.
