selective breeding, i'd assume, like any other trait or set of traits? i have a windhound who is VERY HIGH PREY DRIVE when it comes to squirrels in the park, but a complete honey to our house cats.... she can run like the wind off-leash and in context, but at home she's a real couch potato, our live art-nouveau ornament :) --vicka
