We've interrupted coyotes trying to get at our young dog Jenni. Just this evening we called Jenni in and she didn't come. So Kevin went out looking and heard a few piercing yips from the trees and then everything was silent. Both Kevin and I moved in towards the trees not knowing what to expect, and then Jenni came silently out into the clearing. Her neck was wet and she looked scared. I hope she stays nearer the house from now on. Wanda
