Yes, Jenni was definitely out of the range of the yard when we heard
the trouble yesterday.

There was one time last year I was out feeding in the half darkness
and I heard coyotes barking and yipping up near the house. Marty was
with me, and he hesitated and then looked back at me and decided to
stay with me. I know they were right near the house because the
sensor light came on. They were probably checking Marty's dish for
food. When we got back to the house there were tracks everywhere, but
they had managed to slip away without me every seeing them.
