Do you know what he's talking about when he refers to a character type
called the "Origin".

I got side-tracked in my research (didn't really know where to look) into
the origin of the Icelandic.  They strike me as probably not descended from
the Darley Arabian type horse that is supposed to be the beginning of all
warm blooded breeds.

They seem to me to be responding to training almost as any other breed
would, but everything seems to go more easily and quickly.  Obviosuly I can
only speak for the two I own, but they seem to have a learning style more
like a good dog.
