The Theterow Crossing listing sounds like somethng you'd better look at. Trail access is huge. I would not be happy living where I had to haul out to ride.
I suspect Bend would be a great place for a holistic health practice. Ashland is also a good suggestion, but I think trail access may be harder to come by. We get an average of 14" of rain here, I think. Fog can be very unpleasant in the Rogie Valley and it lasts forever. Both Ashland and Applegate have only a few foggy days each year. It's definitely colder and snowier in Bend, but is very beautiful. I took our daughter up to Bend last Fall to see a pediatric orthopedist who was apparently the only person in the state who was willing to see a patient who was technically an adult. I came home by an alternative route because there was snow on the passes. I told Bruce that if I'd had a camera, I might never have returned. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The Fall colors were brilliant and the sky crisp. Nancy
