--------------Hi Laree, I bought mine used from a lady who was selling hers pair on the Treeless Horse list. I have the tapadero style. I haven't tried the cage style. I was actually a little hesitant about buying the tapadero style (closed toe) because I don't like bulky tack. But after riding in them for a few months now, I have come to love them! They are so comfy, and really do protect my piggies from trees, and big branches. I'm also looking forward to seeing if they have any insulating qualities for riding in the winter.
