Very very true Karen.  We only have about6 acres of pasture at our
cabin, plus the 18 we lease behind our place......our 6 acres can
feed 3 horses all year round.....we get sun and rain all throughout
the year.  Our friends are moving to southpoint, well they got 25
acres and it should feed about 6 horses all year round.....a lot less
rain down that way...so you need more fencing, more land, more
managment.
