Not a horse, but we had a whippet who got real sick before and during thunder storms. Even before the sky would begin to threaten, she would begin to look very sick, sometimes whimpering, sometimes vomiting. We thought she was affected by the atmospheric changes, pressure changes, maybe even wome sory of cranial pressure.
