I have had people on the other end of a phone conversation ask, "What in the world is wrong with that dog?" Only it's Rocky, barking just like a chihuahua that died about 10 years ago just before her 17th birthday.
When our son bought his Indian Ringneck Parakeet, the seller was having a real hard time with a beautiful cockatoo that actually had quite a vocabulary (am I remembering right that this is unusual for a cockatoo?) His wife had died not too long before our vsit and the bird spoke in her voice. It made the guy especially sad. Nancy
