I was thinking of having the Supracor pad I like cut down by a saddle maker to fit whatever new saddle I eventually buy for the two mares - well I guess that's a bit of a leap, assuming one saddle would fit both girls.
Endurance riders need to deal with keeping their horses as cool as possible and having lots of excess pad doesn't help. Since the horse's backs are checked for pain/discomfort, we also have to have adequate and appropriate padding. It's a bit of a balancing act. Nancy
