It's on the edge of what I would consider to be too long. It's a 14 inch saddle on a rather large Icelandic (13.3). It doesn't slide back at all, when it's on Gusti it doesn't move. I'm sure we could ride around with the girth undone and it would stay right where it is. However, having said that. Gusti does move out better in the Sensation. I started looking through pics of when we first tried the Sensation on Gusti. My daughter and I noticed a difference in him. So maybe it IS too long for Gusti. I don't know. What does everyone else think? Do you think it's too long? Wanda
