well...thank goodness i don't live in NYC.   i live in the Twin Cities
Metro area, about 30 miles east of St. Paul. I never hear that word in
my day to day living...at work nor in my community.

I never said it did.     What I said...was that FOR ME....it was
unaccepted to live in a community where that word and other racial
slurs were okay. That FOR ME...I was not willing to live in an area
where I was treated badly based on my skin color and last name. THAT
FOR ME...it was NOT a place where I could be happy.
