I think

Oh man - this is one of my top-of-the-list pet peeves.

There's a lot more to endurance than going full out on a hot hot horse. 
Sometimes this type of horse just can't settle down enough to pulse down or 
eat or drink.

Every time I see an ad that reads "Would make  a good endurance prospect" I 
think "Oh yeah.  Here's another one that's All Go and No Whoa."

I realize full well that this does describe Stonewall at all, I think he's a 
very nice horse indeed,  but a lot of sellers think if he's too hot to be a 
saddle horse, he'd be good in endurance.
