fwiw, stjarni and i (and my student with the quarab) are hoping to try a novice-class ctr sometime in the upcoming year. since we often do ten or fifteen miles just on a long day together in the woods, we hope that it will be well within our horses' comfort zones, and that the support and checking that the ctr provides will help give us a better insight into their fitness. if we've found my husband a pony by then, perhaps we will be three :) :) --vicka, full of hopes and plans :)
