the problem with join up or any type roundpenning is you have to apply pressure and some horses freak out with the teeniest bit of pressure while others you could hit with a truck and they wouldnt notice. You have to be very aware of their response to your pressure. Some horses perceive even a look as intense pressure. My fox almost had a nervous breakdown in the roundpen. Janice -- even good horses have bad days sometimes.
